For smooth functioning of the Central Waqf Council there are 4 Committees constituted by the Council from amongst its members. These Committees meet periodically and discharge their resposibilities, as assigned under the Central Waqf Council Rule, 1998.
The brief functioning of the four Committees constituted from among the members of the Council are given in succeeding paragraphs:
Monitoring & Advisory Committee
The Monitoring Committee of the Council look after the issues not covered under the above three Committees related to the Waqf affairs. It also monitors the progress on various issues and recommend for speedy action to the Council. The committee of the council to look after the overall functioning of the Council and to advice on the monitoring aspects.
