(Former Scheme of Computerization of Records & Strengthening of State Waqf Boards)

On the recommendation of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Waqf, a Central Sector Scheme of "Computerization of the Records of State/UT Waqf Boards" was launched by the Ministry of Minority Affairs ,Govt. of India in December 2009 and after evaluation of the Scheme it is further continuing during 2017-18 to 2019-20 Financial Year,which has now been further extended upto 2025-26.The Scheme has been renamed as "Qaumi Waqf Board Taraqqiati Scheme (QWBTS)". The Central Waqf Council, New Delhi is the Nodal Agency for implementation of the Scheme.
